because he would be exposed to all the ignorant people out there who do not know the difference between Iran and Iraq and he would be in danger from all those who believe every Muslim is a terrorist.
the person who should not lay a wreath at the site is George Bush because he is too arrogant to see that his policies have exposed the whole world to terrorist attack and will continue to endanger us all by believing that anything America wants, America can do
Why shouldn't the president of Iran be allowed to lay a wreath at the scene of the 9-11 outrage?
I'd say let him.
if he gets assasinated... hey i didnt see ****.
Reply:I think he is more adept at laying camels, if you get my drift.
Reply:Because he fully supports what the terrorists did and are still doing, and doesn't give a damn about the victims.
Reply:Do they make Piss wreaths?
Are you that gullible?
Reply:Let's see um....Maybe because according to him the Holocaust never happened, and he still wants to pay his respect, he does not know what R E S P E C T means...
Sing it Aretha!!!
Reply:how do you think muslims would react if George W. Bush wanted to go hang out at mecca or some other god-forsaken "holy" muslim site? it would go over like a lead zeppelin...no, it would be extremely rude to try to attend their sacred grounds, just like it is for him to try to put himself at ground zero..got it? do you understand that?
Reply:He supports terrorism, and his wreath laying would be in support for the hijackers - not the victims. His mere presence on that hallowed ground is inappropriate and a slap in the face to all those that died. He shouldn't even be in NYC at all.
Reply:Because it is a hypocritical act and meant as a taunt. Me, I'd like to kick the s*#h out of him and it would be a very sincere act.
Reply:because they knowingly sponsored the terrorists that caused it...
Reply:I think he should be able to do this.
And the NYPD/FBI/CIA/et al have the right to stay away in droves and fail to pursue anyone who wants to meet out some NYC justice!
Saves the trouble of declaring President I-am-a-nut-a-job personae non grata through diplomatic channels.
Reply:1. Ground zero is now a construction site and it isn't safe to have people just wandering around down there.
2. The area would be to hard to secure and the man is a foreign dignitary (regardless of political view) how would it look if he were assassinated in our country?
3. How do we know if he's laying a wreath for the murdered US citizens or if he's doing it for the terrorists?
4. Finally, why should we allow him to get photo opportunities for his own purposes while we anger our own citizens (namely the families of those who died)
