Can you give other symbols of advent other than the advent wreath that i could make w/ the materials at home?
I found a number of advent and christmas symbols talked about here..

Reply:We made advent flip calendars for the kids at church. Each day had a bible verse to look up, as well as an activity to get prepared for Christmas. Such as, call a grandparent and wish them a Merry Christmas. Pop popcorn and watch a Christmas movie. Go to a live nativity scene. Be creative.
