Why is it an honor to lay a wreath at the tomb of the unknowns?

It's like when someone takes flowers to a loved one's grave. It's a sign of respect and honor. We may not know who they are, but they did serve our country and deserve the upmost respect.

Why is it an honor to lay a wreath at the tomb of the unknowns?
It's so messed up that they fought for this country and died but nobody came pick up their bodies....


We have America today because they fought for it long time ago and look how great America has become.


They deserve the greatest respect!
