What sort of things can I make cheaply and sell for a higher price?

I know someone who made and sold wreaths and candle oasis during christmas. I would like to make similar things that can be sold for high prices, all year round.

Any ideas??

What sort of things can I make cheaply and sell for a higher price?
silk flower arrangments or other arrangments in vases. Buy and then re-sell on e-bay. You could knit things if you can knit. If you cant knit very well you could always just keep it to simple things like scarves.

You could still do the candle thing. most people like nicely decorated candles in their homes these days whatever time of year it is.

Bake and sell cakes. Everybody loves home baked cakes but don't get round to doing it themselves.

You could sell any books that you've read.

Car boot sale?? have you any junk you can get rid of or can your friends and family help you out with their junk. You'll be helping them by getting rid of it for them and this won't cost you a penny. You can make hundreds of pounds at car boot sales depending on how much stuff you have.

I'm all out of ideas now but if I think of anything else I'll let you know.
Reply:Figure out what you are pasionate about and love. Key in on that, and you'll have a winner!

Reply:it depends on your skill level.

You might be able to start with a piece of fire wood and end up with an ornamental turned bowl for £200

Or you might be able to start with a pile of newspapers and end up with them distributed around a village for 5p each

the list is endless, it depends on your skill.

sucessful businesses never start with the question "how can i make money ?", they start with "what do people want", and then ask "can i make money at it"
Reply:whatever you do don,t go for one of these work from home deals, i,ve looked into them and have,nt found one that is,nt a rip off
Reply:greetings cards. my mum started it as a hobby and has now a nice little work-at-home business selling them.
