Where on Long Island do you buy your REAL christmas tree?

I want to buy a real tree this year. What nursery do you suggest? I also want to buy a wreath. I live in nassau county long island. Thanks.

Where on Long Island do you buy your REAL christmas tree?
Martin Viette nursery on Rt. 25A in Old Brookville has great things, although a bit pricey.

Also, Hicks Nursery on Jericho Turnpike in Westbury always has a large selection of excellent trees and wreaths.

Those are my family's favorites, and believe me, my Mom and Dad are very into Christmas and particular about what they buy.

Hope this helps...and Merry Christnas (even a few weeks early!)
Reply:maybe try home depot or lowes.... they usually have fresh trees
Reply:Here is a website to pick your own christmas tree from mikes farm and others....Its in the long island area but I am not sure how close is it to your county...

Reply:Try Atlantic Nursery in Freeport. See owners Sig or Christina Feile and tell them Sid sent you.
