How would I make these fancy dress costumes?

1) A present/gift


2) A Christmas Cracker


3) A Christmas wreath





I woud preferably like to make them using materials such as cardboard etc rather than having to go out and buy lots of material/costumes.

Also, I don't want to dress up as some slutty elf, Mrs Claus etc.


P.S It's for school and we've got to wear it all day. I don't want to look a prat. XD

How would I make these fancy dress costumes?
The present idea..is good.. easily done but not wearable for all day.





This is an idea...get a nice white dress. Or white shirt and white skirt...and put over yourself a cardboard cut out of a star. This doesn't have to be that big of a star...and if you affix straps to your shoulders..and have the star on the back and the front...it should be comfortable to wear. Put glitter all over it with glue...or just make it out of aluminum foil...with glitter thrown on for good measure.





You can go nuts with the glitter...and put it everywhere...and even line some of your white dress with some gllitter glue..you can even paint some nice stars here and there.





So you will be the Christmas Star! That bright star that shone through the heavens and made such an impact on the whole world.





If you can't find a white dress...you can get some white sheets from a thrift store and make a very nice loose fitting tunic.

Reply:thing is if you don't want to look like a prat then your going to have to spend a bit of money and go to a fancy dress shop and buy something!!!!!!!! Its the only way trust me!!!!!!

White top and trousers or white dress and tights and a scarf and hat and draw some buttons down the front





or you could be an elf, red or green trousers (coloured skinny jeans are really fashionable atm) and red or green top then buy an elfy hat from a pound shop and voila!





If you have to dress up christmassy you'll be guarentted to look a bit of a prat, buts thats half the fun lol
