strange days in america....

What's wrong with letting iran's president lay a wreath at former WTC site?
I agree and think it could be a small stepping stone to peace. But there is a very strong voice in America who believe we HAVE to be enemies with Iran. I am ashamed since it is very bad manners to reject an offering like that.
Reply:We do know Iranians lit candles for us. It's their sh*thead president we have a problem with, not the general population. Mahmoud was part of the terrorist group responsibe for the US embassy hostage crisis in 1979. I'll be you didn't know that, either. Way to be a tool for him. Report It

Reply:Im with ck1, she said it the best. Nothing I can add.
Reply:Because it's an offense that someone who supports and hides terrorists would make a mockery of what happened on 9/11 like it was a victory for them. Let him publicly renounce the support of terrorism and then maybe he'd be looked upon as more of an ally.
Reply:To begin with, I can't even believe we're letting that **** into our country. To the United States, this man is considered a terrorist and he has the audacity to ask that. His country is the modern day face of evil. I wonder who will be protecting this prick when he arrives. If he has no protection whatsoever it wouldn't surprise me. I also wouldn't be surprised to see massive protests of his visit and the fact that the government is allowing him into our country is just way beyond anything I can comprehend because this guy is a ******* terrorist!!!
Reply:As I see it, it is a shallow effort on his part. He wants to gloat, not to honor. The US doesn't want him to get the photo op. Next month it would be all over the Middle East touting the "great victory" they had in the blood thirsty destruction of thousands of innocent Americans.
Reply:No,I don't believe it. They hate us ,and almost everyone knows that. He wouldn't be laying the wreath for the dead Americans, but for the animals that died flying the plane.
Reply:Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism and has been so since 1979. Not only would accommodating his request make him look hypocritical and be odd at best, it would insult everyone who died in the WTC attacks. What's more, Ahmadinejad is just playing on public sentiment. He knows as well as you and I do that there'd be a section of the US population that would jump to his defense.

"Look at him, see how caring he is."

"But he's such a humanitarian!"

"Those bad men at Fox News had to have been lying when they said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map. Damn them and our evil horrible president, I think I'm going to cry..."
Reply:Could it be because it would be the height of hypocrisy since Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorists and terrorism? Knowing that, do you have to question why people are in an uproar about the Iranian leader putting a wreath at the WTC site? What would the wreath be for...to commemorate the terrorists who flew the planes into the towers?
Reply:it would be insult upon injury.
