When is the earliest you can decorate for fall?

I know this is a silly question but when is the best time or the earliest one could decorate for fall, just basic decorations, fall colors on a wreath for the door, or plastic pumpkins in a wagon? Any info

When is the earliest you can decorate for fall?
I'm going to wait until around the end of Sept. If you're in a cooler climate where fall comes early then watch the weather and go with the changing of the season.

Or, start whenever you feel like it. If you're ready to welcome Fall, then go for it. :-)

I think the stores confuse many of us by bringing out seasonal decor much too early. I'm starting to see Christmas decor already!!!! YIKES!
Reply:Sounds like you are as ready for Fall as I am. I try and wait until the middle of September, or when I see other people in the neighborhood doing theirs. (I'm a follower, not a leader) :)
Reply:The first day of September. :D

The stores in my town already have their front windows all decked out with pumpkins and fall decorations.. I LOVE IT!!!! :D
Reply:After Labor Day.
Reply:As soon as school starts, I'd say, and come Oct. 1st my halloween decorations go up!
Reply:Here in the northern part of the US, we start in September. I see that already a few leaves are changing on the trees, and my chrysanthemums are blooming...if you live in Florida you might want to wait till October....
Reply:On the first day of fall, but I can tell you that the stores are already doing so.
Reply:probably when the leaves start falling and theres actually enough where you have to rake them up!
Reply:I guess, the day fall starts
Reply:probably after Labor Day weekend...
Reply:whenever the leaves start changing colors, pumpkins i would wait until the beginning of October. Thats more of a Halloween thing.
Reply:I think the middle of September is a great time to put our your fall decorations. Or you could wait until the first day of fall, September 22.
Reply:I generally change my decor when the weather significantly changes. Around here in the Midwest, that would generally be the beginning of October.
Reply:Sept. 23rd... first day of autumn

or whenever you want... there is no rule, so have fun!
Reply:There is not really a rule, but most folks start decorating for fall after Labor Day. I usually put my fall wreath out between Labor Day and the first day of fall. Then, after Thanksgiving, I put out my Christmas decorations. After Christmas, I put back up my fall wreath, as there really isn't anything but Valentine's Day to decorate for until Spring comes around.
Reply:September 1. Or right after Labor Day.
Reply:September. That is when I start.
Reply:When the leaves start changing colors. That way your surrounding would compliment the decorations.
